| LIGHT
FITTINGS
Generally,
when we acquire a property, we change all the light fittings for
two reasons. First and foremost, new light fittings are safer because
the conform to updated electrical codes. The other reason is that
they look more modern and enhance the rooms in which they are installed.

|
WALL
SWITCHES
According
to common electrical codes:
- A
light switch must control lighting in every habitable room, hallway,
stairway, or garage. The switch can control either a light fixture
or a receptacle into which a lamp is plugged.
- In kitchens
and bathrooms, the light switch must control a permanently installed
light fixture.
